Who We Are
A not-for-profit built around community
Bunurong Community Services is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing social and public welfare. Our services are built around the people who use them: individuals, families and communities experiencing hardship, disadvantage or the effects of domestic and family violence.
We take our lead from community. The programs we run, the facilities we operate and the relationships we build all reflect what the people around us have told us they need. Our services are designed for and prioritised to people experiencing disadvantage, and delivered with cultural responsiveness throughout.
We are here for the long haul.
What We Do
How we support our community
Counselling and Support
Safe, confidential support for individuals and families dealing with domestic violence, trauma, grief and other hardships.
Community and Cultural Programs
Programs that support recovery, inclusion and awareness of domestic violence and social injustice for those affected by disadvantage.
Education and Skills
Language classes and skills development programs that build confidence, open up employment pathways and support greater independence for people experiencing disadvantage.
